Kaela

I grew up as a pastor’s kid in northern Michigan and was blessed to be taught the message of the gospel from a young age. While I had professed faith in Christ as my Savior as a young child, I remember my early teen years being the first time I desired to study God’s Word and grow in my relationship with Him. Throughout various trials in adulthood, the Lord has been gracious to reveal His deep love and care for me, and it is my desire to share that hope with others. In 2014, I graduated from CU with a degree in nursing and have worked as a nurse both in pediatric ER and crisis pregnancy settings. I am married to my husband, Caleb, of 8 years & currently stay at home with our 3 young kiddos: Silas(4), Reuben(2) & Sylvia(1). I currently serve at Grace in women’s ministry as well as 2’s & 3’s Sunday school, and I am excited about the opportunity to serve as a deaconess—continuing serving in the current ministries I’m involved in, as well as learning how I can be a part of a team to further Grace’s outreach in our community.
