Giving Opportunity

The Harvest Offering is an annual opportunity for us to recognize God’s abundant provision to us and to give generously to support strategic projects that will advance the cause of the gospel around the world.
The offering will launch on November 16. Gifts can be given online through December 31.
Our goal for this year’s offering is $158,000.

Projects are funded in order of listing.

Funding Level: $75,000

The imposing Saratoga Springs Utah Temple is symbolic of the overwhelming Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presence in the region. In recent years, Grace has enjoyed a vibrant partnership with Plant for the Gospel in Salt Lake City. And they are now preparing to plant Gospel Fellowship Church in Saratoga Springs in 2026. This project will procure the mobile needs for the church – a trailer, sound system, nursery equipment, projection system, hospitality supplies, pipe and drape – all that will be needed to organize weekly Sunday services in a rental space.

Funding Level: $20,000

Shepherds College is focused on providing residential post-secondary education for students with intellectual or developmental disabilities. They are launching a new initiative to better equip local churches to minister to individuals with special needs. Far too often, individuals with disabilities and their families feel unseen or excluded in church life. Shepherds is seeking to develop a Virtual Training Classroom Lab to provide live coaching and support for local churches who are seeking to engage this disproportionately unchurched demographic. This project will fund critical technology needed to create a high-quality virtual learning environment (i.e. lighting, smart boards, cameras and streaming equipment).

After seeing their first German church planted successfully with local leadership, Aaron & Anne Bowes have established a work in Halle – a secular city that was previously part of the communist state of East Germany. They are particularly passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with the marginalized and needy. This project will help subsidize the cost of Bibles and a camp experience for 25 low income residents they serve at the Soup Kitchen and City Mission. Camp provides a unique opportunity for these residents to step away from the distractions of life and encounter the life-changing message of the gospel.

Salamanca, Mexico is part of “the Rosary Belt” in Mexico. According to the Southern Baptist Mission Board, this area and its surrounding states are the least evangelized in the Americas. Kevin Reilly is partnering with the Bible Institute of the Americas and the Caribbean (IBAC) to bring theological training to seven bi-vocational pastors and another fifty lay leaders from those churches. They are currently in year 5 of a 7 year training program. This project will cover the cost of two additional week-long modules.

Funding Level: $10,000

There is a growing need for trained Christian counselors in Asia to meet the demand for quality mental health care. The Master of Arts in Counseling program (MAC) at Asia Biblical Theological Seminary (ABTS) seeks to address this need by providing quality clinical counseling training that is theologically and biblically integrated. Currently, ABTS is working to establish two new cohorts for the MAC program: one in Central Asia and one combined cohort for Nepal and Manila. They hope to graduate 30 competent counselors in 4 years time. This project will provide scholarships for students and travel stipends for qualified professors.

The need for pastors in France is staggering. Over the course of the next 10 years, they will need 1,000 new pastors just to replace those who are retiring. The Dodsons planted a vibrant church in Strasbourg. Lucas and Sybille are a young French couple from that church. The church has sent them to a four-year Bible training program in Belgium to prepare them for church planting in France. This project would help supplement their training and help propel them into gospel ministry.

Funding Level: $20,000

Adoption and foster care is one of the most beautiful demonstrations of the gospel (James 1:27). Many families here at Grace have committed to caring for vulnerable children. This project would underwrite the cost of a banquet (capacity of 350) where adoptive and foster families could be encouraged, honored, and resourced so they can continue the journey. It would be a blessing – not only to families at Grace – but also to many other families in the Miami Valley. The event will be held on November 21 at the Schindler Banquet Center on the campus of Athletes in Action.

Our giving goal for this year was $158,000, and our giving total was $171,002. This included $156,000 in new giving plus an allocation of $15,000 from the 2025 Salt Lake City line item. We were able to fund all seven of the approved projects and have $13,000 in overage!

Overage Project

Funding Level: $13,000

Wade & Tara serve as trainers at Safir Global Training (formerly the Radical Training Center) in Western Asia. They have also been asked to help launch an international church plant that can serve as a greenhouse for gospel advance in the region. Our Harvest gift allows them to secure a temporary rental space during the formative phase of the new church plant (8 months).
