Phase Four Update
The Elders and the Pastor Search Committee (PSC) are excited that we have entered into Phase 4 of the search for our next Senior Pastor. After receiving a broad range of applicants through various search strategies, the Pastor Search Committee narrowed the list of applicants to those who meet the qualifications for the position and aligned with the search profiles that were published in Phase 2.
In turn, the Elders conducted a review of the applicants forwarded by the search committee, with visibility to the full applicant pool. The Elders have identified three applicants that they would like the committee to engage for the purpose of gathering a deeper level of information. The PSC will proceed to reach out to those applicants with interactions designed to get to know them better. There will be several approaches to engaging the applicants moving forward, ranging from personal conversations to written questionnaires. The goal of Phase 4 is for the PSC to return to the Elders with additional information and a recommendation of one applicant to uniquely pursue as a possible candidate.
