About Community Fest

What is this event?

Community Fest at the Park is an event hosted and sponsored by Grace Baptist Church. Our hope is that this will be a fun night for the community involving: food trucks, a dog parade, softball games, kids’ games, a fishing derby and so much more!

Why are we having this event?

We love our community and wanted to demonstrate by putting on Community Fest at the Park. Our goal, through this event, is to strengthen the bond of community members.

Who is this event for?

This event is for anyone in the community of Cedarville! We would love to see as many people in Cedarville come to Community Fest!

Where and when is the event?

This event is at the Cedarville Community Park on Saturday, June 4th from 5 – 8 pm!

How can I participate in the games/tournaments?

Anyone in the community can sign up to participate in any of our events:

  • 3v3 Basketball Tournament
  • Cornhole Tournament
  • Father/Daughter Kickball Game
  • Mother/Son Kickball Game
  • Co-Ed Softball Game
  • Fishing Derby
  • Dog Parade

Sign Up to Participate!

There are many different games, tournaments, and activities going on for which you can sign up. Check out the information below about the various opportunities to participate in or sign up by clicking the button below. If you sign up, someone will follow up with you about important details for each event.

You must sign up in order to participate. Also, there will be prizes for first place!

Deadline for sign ups is Monday, May 30th.

Co-Ed Softball Game
Co-Ed Softball Game

The Co-Ed Softball Game is open to anyone age 16 and up. We’d love to have two teams filled with members from our community to compete! The game will start right at 5:00 PM on Saturday June 4th at the Community Park. Dave Webber will be in charge of this event! Sign up by clicking the button above!

Dog Parade
Dog Parade

The Dog Parade will be for any dog owner who wants to dress up and show off their pup! The parade will start at 5:30 PM with participants lining up at 5:15 PM. Isabelle Harvey & Sarah Mark will be organizing this event. Sign up by clicking the button above!

Please note: All dogs must remain on a leash before, during, and after the parade.

Kickball Games
Kickball Games

Moms grab your sons and dads grab your daughters for you to have fun together! We will have two separate Kickball Games on Saturday, June 4th:

  • Father/Daughter Kickball Game:
    • For daughters ages 7 – 17
    • Starts at 6:00 PM
  • Mother/Son Kickball Game:
    • For sons ages 7 – 17
    • Starts at 7:00 PM

3v3 Basketball Tournament
3v3 Basketball Tournament

We will be having a 3v3 Basketball Tournament for anyone to participate in. Teams of three must be complete in order to sign up. The tournament will start at 6:00 PM. Jack & CJ Pahl will be overseeing this event! Sign up by clicking the button above!

Cornhole Tournament

We will also have a Cornhole Tournament happening on the 4th. Teams of two must be complete in order to sign up. So find a partner and come show us your skills with those corn-filled bags! This event will start at 6:00 PM. Jack & CJ Pahl will be organizing this event. Sign up by clicking the button above!

Fishing Derby
Fishing Derby

We will be having a Fishing Derby (or contest) to see who can catch the biggest fish in Massie Creek next to the park. Bring your own rod to be able to compete in this friendly (and fishy) competition. The Fishing Derby will start right at 5:00 PM. Sign up by clicking the button above!

Kids' Games
Kids' Games

Starting at 6:00 PM we will have a variety of Kids’ Games for any kid in Elementary School (K – 5th). Sign ups are not required for this event, so come join us for some outdoor fun!
